Suitable for: Rabbits; Guinea Pigs; Gerbils and Hamsters; Rats and Mice; Chinchillas; Tortoises

Oxbow partners with their family of farmers to grow the freshest, softest, most fragrant hay to meet the taste and texture preferences of even the pickiest rabbit, guinea pig, or chinchilla. Within their proprietary quality process, they analyze, grade, nutritionally test, hand sort and hand pack every bag of Oxbow hay you purchase to ensure it is up to the challenge of nourishing your little loved one.

Features:

  • Harvested fresh from Oxbow’s family of farms
  • Hand-sorted and hand-packed with care
  • Grown specifically for small pets
  • High in fiber for digestive & dental health
  • Premium Oxbow quality

Feeding Directions:
Place large handfuls of grass hay in your pet’s habitat daily.  Mix different grass hays together to enrich your pet’s diet.  Try all tastes and textures to discover your pet’s favorites.

Some extra info about tortoises & their feeding requirements:
Tortoises should have grass clippings/grass hays available at all times as they require a good deal of fiber in the diet. Any of our grass hays are great for tortoises, however, Western Timothy and Orchard Grass should be the largest portions offered, with Oat Hay offered less frequently/in lower quantities. Alfalfa (Legume Hay) can be provided to growing animals or as an occasional treat.
